Because the toxin is AIRBORNE, I have looked into personal air filtration- and have found activated charcoal masks to be more effective than plain masks- silver impregnated to be even more effective agains bacteria, viruses.... HOWEVER- we are trying to block an airborne toxin... and I have yet to discover anything citing this. Assuming the size of volatile fumes and viruses- particulately speaking- PERHAPS these would be effective protection for the airborne toxin released from decaying algal blooms- cyanobacterial blooms.
