Arnica is applied to the skin for pain and swelling associated with bruises, aches, and sprains.
It is also used on the skin to treat arthritis, acne, insect bites, muscle and cartilage pain, chapped lips.

Well Drained, Acidic, Organic
PROPAGATION:
Sow seeds after frost (March-April)
Germination 2-4 weeks
Transplant in Fall
Protect from cold.

June - August

HARVESTING AND STORING:
Harvest the flowers during mid to late summer soon after they begin to blossom, together with the stems.
Roots are harvested in the fall when the plant has withered and dried under the same conditions as the flowers.
Store in air tight container after fully dried.
